Rightway School is an English medium boarding and day Nursery and Primary school in Mbezi Beach Dar es salaam. The school aims at developing Independent learners who will be ready to tackle the 21st century.
Rightway School is seeking to employ dedicated and experienced matrons and patrons in their boarding
section. These people will reside in the school and will report to the Boarding Coordinator.
A boarding Matron/Patron resides at the school. S/he will support teachers in ensuring continuity of care,
general welfare, discipline and personal development of the learners in the boarding house. The day to day
tasks includes but not limited to;

1. Supervising learners in the boarding houses
2. Ensuring learners are well taken care of and follow a set program
3. Making sure learners clothes are kept clean and are repaired and replaced when necessary
4. Looking after Learners with minor illnesses
5. Refer learners to medical Centre or take them to the hospital
6. Keeping children’s record up to date
7. Supervising cleanness of the boarding houses
8. Carrying out inventories of fixtures and fittings and reporting the need for repairs and replacement
9. Grooming learners to become responsible beings
10. Teach learners soft skills.

Qualifications.

Boarding Matron or Patron will need to fulfill the following qualifications;

1. Must be below 45 years
2. Must be a holder of either Diploma or Degree in Social welfare or Nursing or Child care or Education
   or any related fields.
3. Must demonstrate experience in managing or taking care of children for at least 2 years
4. S/he must be organized, Flexible, Strong communicator, English speaker, hard worker and have
   basic computer skills
5. If they possess the following skills will be an ADDED ADVANTAGE sports, music, arts and craft,
   driving, counseling, home economics and food and nutrition.
